TIE HoyFile immigration applications with Mercurio
Choose the right procedure, sign the submission and keep the final registration receipt.
What do you need to submit?
The official Mercurio procedure requires a recognized electronic certificate/DNIe and AutoFirma for final signing.
FNMT is one certificate issuer, not the only one. The CL@VE gateway name does not prove Móvil/Permanente alone can sign the filing.
Which filing window applies?
Use the deadline for your actual permit or notice; Mercurio does not create a universal window.
Ordinary family renewal uses two months before expiry or three months after (Art. 71.1). A portal error does not itself decide whether the legal deadline has passed.
Draft, upload and registered filing
Saving a draft or uploading a PDF is not completed filing.
The final registration receipt must identify the applicant, registration reference, date and receiving authority. For a response, use the existing file reference and the notice-designated channel.
When the portal fails
Keep the error and attempted date; an attempt alone is not registration.
Check the legally permitted alternate channel with the competent authority. Mandatory electronic filing cannot automatically be replaced by paper.
Do not change the permit type merely to obtain a working screen.

Steps
- Confirm the form, applicant and competent province.
- Test the recognized certificate/DNIe and AutoFirma.
- Attach readable documents and the fee only if that procedure requires it.
- Sign, finish registration and save the final receipt plus attachments.
- Monitor the notice channel recorded in the receipt.
Basis
Mercurio requires certificate/DNIe signing and final registration. RD1155 Article71.1 sets the family-renewal window; the portal does not change the permit’s deadline.
