Is Arraigo → Work always Hoja 55 bis?
No. Hoja 55 bis fits when the current residence does not enable work. If the authorization already enables work, Hoja 55 or renewal may be the correct branch.
What does the modification prove?
It proves the current residence and the target work route. Art. 191.4 covers residence that did not enable work and conditions effectiveness on Social Security registration where work applies.
Conditions
Hoja 55 bis is for residence situations that did not enable work. RD 1155/2024 art. 191.4 requires at least one year of residence and points to the employed or self-employed target route.
Materials
Prepare EX-26, passport, current card/resolution and evidence of the target work route. Employment requires employer-side proof; self-employment requires project, licence, investment and viability proof.

Hoja 55 bis identifies 790-052 epigraph 2.5.2. It identifies 790-062 epigraph 3.2.1 when the route is initial employed work. Filing may be in person at Oficina de Extranjería or through Mercurio.
