Do I need two copies?
For consular NIE, Exteriores Edinburgh asks for the original and one copy. Police appointment pages may ask for the official form as part of the documentation.
What if someone files for me?
Bring the representative’s ID and power of attorney expressly authorizing the NIE request, plus the applicant passport copy.
Does EX-15 replace 790-012?
No. EX-15 is the request form; 790-012 is the fee form or receipt when the procedure requires payment.
