No slots versus no appointment required?
Where an appointment is required but unavailable, check other dates or contact the competent office.
Alicante’s specified other localities use a walk-in National Police route. Follow local allocation rules; do not substitute a fingerprints appointment.
Choose the competent office for your address
- Alicante capital and the Provincial Police office’s area: use the appointment route. Residents of other localidades attend the National Police comisaría nearest their current home without appointment.
- Málaga: if registered on the municipal padrón in Málaga province, the system assigns an available appointment at any police office in that province.
- Madrid: provincial Police procedures are only for Madrid-province residents; in Madrid city, use the district Police for the host’s padrón address.

- Valencia: find your municipality in the full list for the correct criterion—host padrón for Sagunto/Alzira-Algemesí, guest lodging for Ruzafa/Burjassot.
Other towns follow their assigned police district. - The Tarragona, Reus and Tortosa Police offices each serve their own municipality list, not just their namesake cities.

Read the invitation notice before entering personal data
- Police-group labels can differ: POLICIA-CARTA DE INVITACIÓN; Murcia: POLICIA-Expedición de Carta de Invitación - Murcia; Tarragona: POLICIA-EXPEDICIÓN DE CARTA DE INVITACIÓN.
Appointment proof is not filing proof
- Appointment confirmation reserves a visit; it does not prove the invitation application was filed.
- After filing, keep the acknowledgement your competent police office issues.

- Under TRÁMITES POLICÍA NACIONAL choose the invitation label for your notice (by label text, not menu position).
- Read the entire notice (including foot) before personal data or booking.
- Prepare materials per that notice; book one cita per guest if Alicante rules apply.
- If slots are full where appointments are mandatory, contact that office — use the police locator if needed.
