TIE Hoy Form EX-17 — how to fill it out
What is the EX-17 for?
It's the official application form for the TIE card. Used in all cases: first card, renewal, and duplicate. Law 14/2013 (entrepreneurs) uses a different form.
Where do I download it?
From the Ministry of Inclusion website: download EX-17 (editable PDF). Print it, fill it out, and sign it.
Which fields matter most?
Full name (exactly as in your passport) and NIE number. The rest (address, phone) are required but a minor error in them won't block your application.
What mistakes must I avoid?
Don't leave it unsigned. Don't use data that differs from your passport. Use the right form (EX-17, not EX-23 which is for Brexit). Bring it printed, not on your phone.
