Child: a parent files it; add the birth certificate, parent’s registration/NIE and parent ID.
Generate Tasa 790-012.

Basis
Article 7 of Royal Decree 240/2007 requires registration for stays over three months and provides for an immediate certificate containing the NIE. Article 3 of Order PRE/1490/2012 sets the evidence for workers, self-sufficient people and students; EX-18 expressly provides for a legal representative, including a child’s parent.
More questions
When is the EU family-member residence card the correct route?
Use it when the family member is not an EU, EEA or Swiss national.
An EU-national child applies for their own EX-18; a non-EU family member follows the family-member card route.
