What is the difference between social arraigo and work-based arraigo?
Work-based arraigo is based on employment contracts, while social arraigo is based on family or social ties, an integration report, and financial means. They are not interchangeable.

Can I choose social arraigo if I have a job offer?
Only if you meet the requirements for the social route and can prove sufficient financial means, ties, or an integration report. Having a job offer does not automatically make the application work-based arraigo.
Do I need criminal record certificates for every type of arraigo?
Yes, unless the Immigration Office specifies a particular exception. Provide certificates from the countries where you lived during the previous five years, legalised and translated where required.
Does an integration report replace family ties?
It can prove integration under the social route when you cannot show sufficient family ties. The competent regional authority or local council issues it after assessing your case.
Can I apply for second-chance arraigo if a previous application was refused?
A refusal alone is not enough. You must previously have held a residence authorisation, and its expiry or non-renewal must meet the requirements of this route.
