BBVA — a fee-free account and up to €450

€400: choose one of these conditions

Put your chosen arrangement in place within the first 90 days. The €400 is a gross amount.

• Have a salary or pension of at least €800 paid into the account.
• Set up direct debit for your self-employed Social Security contributions for 12 months.
• Maintain an average daily balance of at least €15,000 for 12 consecutive months.

Up to €50 with Aqua Debit

Make eligible purchases totalling €50 within 45 days of opening the account. BBVA refunds eligible net spending up to that maximum; Bizum must remain active when the reward is paid.

An account you can keep using

Cuenta Online Sin Comisiones or Cuenta Nómina: no account or debit-card maintenance fees, with payments, transfers, and Bizum. For spending above €1,000, use a card or bank transfer within your assigned limit; Bizum has a maximum of €1,000 per transaction.
Fees 790-052/062 can be paid electronically through the government portal using a digital certificate or Cl@ve. For 790-012, follow the Police payment options.

You can invite friends afterwards

With your own code, you receive €50 for the first friend who meets the requirements, €60 for the second and third, and €70 each for the fourth through tenth: up to €660 per annual period. This is a separate action after opening your account.

Opening requirements

You must be over 18, not a customer now or within the last 6 months, and open an individual account. Online registration requires a valid DNI or TIE. Enter and validate 30220013260072 before signing.
BBVA checks the requirements before paying; the terms indicate between 45 days and 6 months after they are met.
