When can I apply?
Depends on origin: 10 years legal residence (general), 5 (refugees), 2 (Latin American, Philippines, Eq. Guinea, Portugal, Andorra, Sephardic), 1 (born in Spain, married to Spanish national).
What are the requirements?
Continuous legal residence, good civic conduct, and sufficient integration (CCSE exam + DELE A2 if not a native Spanish speaker).
How long does it take?
Legal deadline is 1 year, but in practice it varies. The application is submitted online through the Ministry of Justice.
