DEHú Extranjería — where notices arrive

The status screen helps you orient yourself; the notice tells you whether to add documents, whether you were approved, or whether you were refused.

What is DEHú in an immigration case?

DEHú is Spain’s single enabled electronic address for public-administration notices and communications.
In an immigration case, the important notice may ask for extra documents, approve the application, or refuse it.

Where do I check an Extranjería notice?

Check DEHú, Carpeta Ciudadana, or the electronic office of the body that issued the notice.
For Extranjería notices by electronic appearance, the official help page points to Sede Electrónica → Mis Expedientes → Extranjería.

What to do

Open the notice first; save the letter before fingerprints.

Bring

  • Digital certificate or Cl@ve
  • Notification alert if you received one
  • Passport / NIE or file details
  • Downloaded copy of the resolution or request

Steps

  1. Make sure you can access with a digital certificate, Cl@ve, or an accepted ID method.
  2. Enter DEHú, Carpeta Ciudadana, or the relevant electronic office.
  3. If the alert is from Extranjería, go to Mis Expedientes > Extranjería.
  4. Read the content: it may request documents, approve, or refuse the case.
  5. If approved, save the resolution before preparing EX-17, tasa, photo, and fingerprints.

Electronic notices are practiced by appearance: identified access to the notice content is the notification event. For Extranjería, appearance can be made from Mis Expedientes > Extranjería.

Do I need to register or prepare access first?

Yes. Prepare certificate or Cl@ve access before waiting, and configure email alerts if the service offers them.

Does the file status replace the letter?

No. Status helps you orient yourself; the notice states the decision, deadline, and next step.
