Can I get fingerprints at a different office?
Yes, but only within your province. The ICP booking system is organized by province — you can pick any station in yours.
Can I go to another province?
No. The law requires your TIE to be processed in your province of residence. Your empadronamiento determines it, not your workplace.
What if my province has no appointments?
You can only wait. There is no legal way to cross provinces. Smaller stations in nearby towns tend to have more availability.
